Annual Ladies Night Banquet held at the Mandarin in Etobicoke 2025

As the 1st Port Credit Sea Scout Group prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026, launching their Community Pollinator Garden at R.K. McMillan Park is a meaningful step forward in education and environmental stewardship. Beyond just a garden, this project offers youth hands-on opportunities to learn about native pollinators, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting our natural environment. With the generous support of local partners, including a heartfelt donation of $500, presented by Ambassador Noble Chris Brown of the Mississauga Shrine Club to Dave Sutman, Treasurer for the Sea Scouts, the garden is quickly becoming a vibrant space for learning and community connection. From planting and maintaining native species to understanding the role pollinators play in our ecosystem, youth are gaining valuable life skills while deepening their connection to the world around them. This initiative not only celebrates the legacy of Scouting in Port Credit — it also inspires a greener, more engaged future.
